Dear President Michel, Dear President von der Leyen, Dear High Representative Borrell, We, the undersigned Members of the European Parliament, are writing you in view of the upcoming EU-China summit of 1 April 2022 and the European Council meeting of this week, not only to express our deep concerns about the latest rapprochement between China and Russia, but also to recall the position of the European Parliament on EU-China relations as set out in the European Parliament resolution of 16 September 2021.

European Parliament endorses Roadmap to make the EU an Artificial Intelligence Leader

In the final report of the Committee on Artificial Intelligence (AIDA), set to be adopted by the European Parliament today, Renew Europe calls for a regulatory framework to make the EU an AI-leader setting the global standards for an ethically responsible AI infrastructure that respects fundamental rights and supports innovation.
